Booking an Airbnb at Isla Cozumel is the best choice when visiting this Mexican island. Because besides those cozy places to stay, Cozumel mainly has large-scale hotels and resorts. Or huge cruise ships at the jetty. As we prefer to stay in more small-scale and off-the-tourist-track accommodations, we highly recommend you to stay at an Airbnb as well. We booked an amazing penthouse room with a private bathroom and a shared kitchen and garden with a pool. Our hosts lived in the building as well and gave us many great recommendations for their island. #1 Stingray Villa
Current prices and availability room 1, room 2, room 3 and room 4 | If you’re looking for a small-scale accommodation with all the luxury you’d expect at a resort, Stingray Villa should be your choice. This beautifully designed villa was built in 2019. It has only four rooms to provide a cozy and more intimate setting, but it does have the luxury of a large patio with a pool. The ocean is only a 5-minutes walk away and all restaurants, bars and facilities of San Miguel are right around the corner. You can book the rooms via Airbnb, but also directly at the Stingray Villa website. This amazing Airbnb in Cozumel is on top of our wishlist for our next visit to this Caribean island!

Current prices and availability | 2 guests | With a central location in San Miguel de Cozumel, sea views and a spacious apartment, this Airbnb has everything you could wish for. A nice detail: you can borrow a snorkel set and that might come in handy in the beautiful waters around Cozumel.
#3 Modern studio in the center
Current prices and availability | 2 guests | This beautifully furnished apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, air conditioning and more luxury, but you’ll probably choose the studio because of its perfect location. Close to the promenade and all amenities of San Miguel, the studio is centrally located.
#4 Cozy studio downtown
Current prices and availability | 2 guests | Your own cozy studio in San Miguel? This is another great Airbnb to book. The Cozumel promenade is at the end of the street and all the town’s amenities are just around the corner. The apartment is comfortably furnished. There is a basic kitchen.

We love the free bikes, offering you a great way to explore Cozumel, as the island has much more to offer than just the town of San Miguel of course. You have your own private room, but you share the spacious garden with a terrace, swimming pool and barbecue with the other guests.
#6 Beachfront studio
Current prices and availability | 2 guests | Many Airbnb’s in Cozumel are located near the ocean, but this studio is right on the beach. It’s also very close to the arrival point of the ferry, so you can easily walk from the boat to your Airbnb. There is a private kitchen, sitting area and colorful colonial bathroom.
