22x Coffee in Paris

Paris is the city of love, of the yellow vests, of art, but also of the best espressos! Every year we go to the finest city on earth for at least one weekend. What we certainly do not skip are the tasty coffee bars that can be found throughout the city. A selection from my favorites!

  • Boot Café –
19 Rue du Pont aux Choux

Let me start with the number 1 this time; Boot Café. This small, picturesque spot serves divine coffee. The barista grinds the beans and accurately measures the required amount of coffee. Sit on the few small stools and enjoy the best coffee in Paris.

  • Coutume –
    47 Rue de Babylone
  • Caféothèque –
52 Rue de l’Hôtel de ville
  • Ob-La-Di –
    54 Rue de Saintonge
  • Ten Belles –
10 Rue de la Grange aux Belles

Often busy because it is popular but small. If you come by here you can not skip this coffee. In addition to good coffee from various rotating burners, Ten Belles is known for its delicious freshly baked bread/pastry.T

  • Café Craft –
    24 Rue des Vinaigriers,
  • Holybelly 5 –
    5 Rue Lucien Sampaix
  • Café Oberkampf –
    3 Rue Neuve Popincourt

This spot also can be quit busy during lunch. Order the famous shakshuka and end your lunch with a cup of great coffee. Tip: no place? Then go to the sister of Café Oberkampf, Café Méricourt close by at 22 rue de la Folie Méricourt.

  • The Hardware Société Paris –
    10 Rue Lamarck
  • Steel cyclewear & coffee shop –
58 Rue de la Fontaine au Roi
  • République of Coffee –
    2 Boulevard Saint-Martin
  • Fragments –
    76 Rue des Tournelles

Fragments also knows where to find the best beans. Here you can drink from burners such as Coutume, Belleville or Coffee Collective. This place is my favorite for the first coffee on a day accompanied by some breakfast.

  • DOSE – Coffee Dealer –
82 Place du Dr Félix Lobligeois & 73 Rue Mouffetard
  • Télescope –
    5 Rue Villedo
  • Café A –
    148 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin

This bar is not in the list because of the perfect coffee, but because the location of Café A is truly unique. This former convent of Les Récollets, from the 16th century, with beautiful white walls, now houses one of Paris’ finest places. Take a seat in the garden and enjoy a well-deserved cup.

  • Café Kitsune –
Jardin du Palais Royal, 51 Galerie de Montpensier
  • La Fontaine de Belleville –
    31-33 Rue Juliette Dodu
  • Blackburn Coffee –
    52 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin
  • KB CaféShop –
    53 Avenue Trudain

If you like something tasty with your coffee, it’s best to go to KB CaféShop. Enjoy your black gold on the lovely terrace. At KB CaféShop – previously known as Kooka Boora – it is also quite okay to take out your laptop and go to work.

  • Cuilier –
19 Rue Yvonne le Tac & 68 Rue de Grenelle & 85 Rue Montmartre
  • Le Peloton Café –
    17 Rue du Pont Louis-Philippe
